About me

I’m Yu-Neng (Allen) Chuang, a third-year Ph.D. student from the Department of Computer Science at Rice University, advised by Dr. Xia “Ben” Hu. Before that, I received my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and my master’s degree in Computer Science, both from National ChengChi University. My research interests include Trustworthy Large Language Models, Explainable Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare AI, and Recommender Systems.

Currently, I am focus on uncertainty, explainability, and safety issues on Large Language Models, making the models to be more accessible and reliable to real-world applications.

  • Mar. 2024: Our paper, The Science of Detecting LLM-Generated Text, has been accepted for a cover publication in the April 2024 issue of Communications of the ACM (CACM)!

  • Mar. 2024: Two papers have been accepted by the NAACL 2024
